Inside its enclosure is a 3.5" SATA hard drive with a rotational speed of 7200 rpm and a capacity of 8TB, so you'll have plenty of space to save your favorite music, photos and movies.The Mercury Elite Pro contains a USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 port (which is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1), an eSATA port, and two 9-pin FireWire 800 ports (backwards compatible with FireWire 400 using an optional adapter). Along with a USB 3.0 Type-A to B cable, the Mercury Elite Pro also comes with Firewire 1394B 9-Pin to 9-Pin and eSATA cables.Please note, this hard drive is not compatible with the NewerTech MAXPower RAID mini-SAS 6G-2e eSATA card.
