Additionally, this drive supports RAID, SMART, and TRIM technology and ECC functionality to protect your stored data. For long-lasting and power-efficient performance, the internal SSD uses SLC and 2D NAND flash memory. It works as a hard drive upgrade internally and in bus-powered or self-powered external enclosures such as Mac, PC, or enclosures that supports 2.5" SATA drives.
